This series explores dualities; what is seen and what activity it can invoke. Using the unique "Hollenstyle 2" to ghost this intention. White surrounds each image as an intentional device used to isolate the image for the purpose of visual impact.

In a colourful way these works play with a simple story of the life of propellers. Each painting has it's own story, from the forging of a propeller, new, shiny and brassy to the ultimate demise.

The Insomnia series depicts the colourful sights dancing on the inside of eyelids on sleepless nights. Embellished with the 'Hollenstyle' technique to give them a jewel-like appearance.

Silhouettes of a woman in various poses using 7 specific colours. Women add colour to life that otherwise would be pale. Her colours within expose beauty.

The idea of discovering an ancient ice cave with images on its walls would be extremely cool (no pun intended!). These paintings are an extrapolation from such a notion. I'm using my unique 'Hollenstyle' to bring closer the idea of an ice cave.
